An actuary, with at least seven years general insurance actuarial experience, is required for a job heading up actuarial in the Singapore office of the established general insurance division of a multinational company.  The job involves responsibility for all actuarial functions, including claims liability reserving, new product design and pricing, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, supervision and development of actuarial staff and management reporting (local, regional and statutory).

 

The jobholder will also ensure the quality and the availability of technical information, improve local and regional actuarial tools and help the business to achieve their strategic objectives. 

 

The right person will be positive, approachable, proactive and diplomatic.  He or she will contribute strongly to the team and ideally understand the Singapore general insurance industry. 

 

Near qualified actuaries with relevant experience will be considered.
