An associate actuary, with at least four years experience, is required in the Hong Kong regional office of a large international financial services company for an interesting actuarial job with responsibility for preparing in-depth financial assessments of potential business development opportunities in life insurance and wealth management for the company.  The role involves the following:

• Conduct in-depth financial analyses to establish viability of business opportunities in life insurance and wealth management (including M&A, joint ventures, alliances, restructuring etc.)


• Prepare details financial plans to support effective decision-making about the viability and strategic impact of proposed business opportunities


• Contribute to the design and development of financial models


• Contribute to financial due diligence in accordance with established standards and formats


• Contribute to product strategy for entry into new markets

The right candidate will have financial modelling experience including economic and embedded values.  Prophet experience is an advantage, as is experience in life insurance and wealth management business development.
