The primary responsibility will be for ensuring that quality actuarial services are provided from all locations in India. A key part of the role will be to support the India Practice Leader and the other senior consultants in business development activities. This role has national responsibility.

Responsibilities
· Align with the India benefits consulting team’s growth vision and actively contribute to making it happen.
· Deliver benefits consulting services to clients: including actuarial, general benefits consulting and M & A services.
· Provide technical leadership to other actuaries and consultants. Provide training in actuarial concepts and accounting standards. Mentor other associates whilst working with them on client projects.
· Maintain the enthusiasm and energy to be actively involved in business development.
· Work with the India Practice Leader to develop the team’s capability, including active mentoring of analysts and junior consultants.
Qualifications
· FIA/FFA/FSA/FIAA etc
· Strong interpersonal skills both for building strong client relationships and for being successful within a team based culture.
· High energy level to make a real impact in a fast changing environment.
· Adaptability to enjoy working in India’s vibrant and multi-cultural business environment
· Willingness to travel extensively within India
· Excellent English written and oral communication skills
