Regional Product Development Actuary – Hong Kong

Location: China

An actuary or near qualified actuary is sought to join (or manage, depending on experience) the team responsible for the product development and approval process across Asia for a large life office.

The role encompasses peer review and guidance of local product initiatives, as well as the corporate approval process for new products. It also includes annual reviews of territories’ plans for new business, including profitability.

The level of involvement in the local product development process will vary in each territory, depending on the skills in the specific territory as well as the person in this role.

The ideal candidate would have a product development background in Asia, have good communication skills and be able to manage the multiple ongoing initiatives efficiently.
