General Insurance Actuarial Student - Kuala Lumpur

An exciting consultancy is looking to take on an actuarial student with one to three years of relevant general insurance actuarial work experience for a role in Malaysia. Work will be very project orientated, involving regional travel and requiring a flexible candidate.

The right candidate will have excellent mathematical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. He or she will be able to work effectively in a team and also independently with little supervision. Attention to detail, commitment to task and excellent written and communication skills are important.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and the successful candidate can look forward to career and personal development paths enhanced by exposure to overseas markets, working across financial services disciplines and day-to-day interaction with experienced actuaries and other specialist consultants. Additionally, structured actuarial study and examination support is available.
