My client is one of the world's fastest growing games companies with a focus on social games with their games played by millions each day.

They are now looking to grow by recruiting a senior server side Java developer able to think outside the traditional web stack with exceptional design and development skills in Core Java & SQL (MySQL ideal).
You will need to have experience developing low-latency, highly scalable, highly available distributed server systems in Java, preferably without J2EE application servers. Knowledge of socket programming and networking protocols.
They will also value experience virtualized machines; Knowledge of alternative data stores such as BerkeleyDB, S3 & SimpleDB, Bigtable/Hypertable, Dynamo/Voldemort, etc; Hibernate, OSGi, Spring, NIO, JMX, Apache Mina, Maven, Python, Erlang or Scala
You will need to have at least 5-6 years experience in Java J2SE & SQL.
The role is based in Central London and paying up to 45-65k + 15% bonus
